Who we are

The Arab Confederation of Internal Auditors (ARABCIA) is a non-profit professional confederation headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Privacy inquiries: info@arabciia.org.

Data we collect

Contact details you provide when you request an External Quality Assessment or an advisory service, subscribe to the newsletter, ask to be notified about training programs, or write to us: name, email, organization, country and the content of your message.

Technical usage data recorded by the web server: IP address, browser type and pages visited.

The site collects no payment or card data, as no services or courses are sold through the website at present.

Why we process it

To respond to your request: External Quality Assessment and advisory requests and general inquiries.

To communicate with you: the newsletter and training launch notifications if you subscribed, which you can stop at any time by writing to us.

To operate, secure and improve the site through server logs.

To meet our legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Website forms are delivered to the Confederation's mailbox through an online form service (Web3Forms) that processes the data on our behalf to the extent needed to deliver the message; the site is hosted on servers managed by the Confederation. We share data with competent authorities where the law requires.

Some data may be transferred to service providers outside the Kingdom in line with the safeguards set by the Personal Data Protection Law.

Retention

Service requests and correspondence are kept for as long as needed to handle and follow them up; newsletter data for as long as you are subscribed or until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You may access your personal data and ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, object to its use for marketing, and withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to info@arabciia.org and we will reply within the statutory period.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses no tracking or analytics cookies. Your browser stores only your language preference in the device's local storage, and it is not sent to us. Fonts are loaded from the Google Fonts service, which may record your IP address when they load.

Updates are published on this page with the date of revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you have read the revised policy.
