External Quality Assessment (EQA)

An independent assessment of your internal audit function's conformance with the Global Internal Audit Standards, delivered by ARABCIA as the IIA-recognized regional body for External Quality Assessment.

Why an external assessment?

The Global Internal Audit Standards require an external quality assessment at least once every five years. The assessment gives the board and audit committee independent assurance over the function, and gives the chief audit executive a roadmap for improvement. ARABCIA is the IIA-recognized regional body for External Quality Assessment in the Arab region, and conducts assessments using The IIA's methodology with accredited assessment teams.
